2. What we process and why

When you submit our contact or waitlist form, we process the data you enter (name, email, and any company details or message you provide) solely to respond to your enquiry or manage your waitlist registration. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers automatically process technical connection data (including a shortened or hashed IP address, timestamp, browser and device type) to deliver and secure the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Processors and services

• Vercel (hosting and content delivery) serves the website.
• Supabase (EU region) stores contact and waitlist submissions.
• Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot protection on our forms and processes a hashed IP address and technical signals, without tracking cookies.
• Vercel Web Analytics provides privacy-friendly, aggregate usage statistics without cookies or cross-site tracking.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) measures how the site is used, only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) for up to 14 months, processes a shortened IP address and technical data, and may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw consent at any time under Cookie settings in the footer.
• Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) measures whether one of our ads led to a visit or an enquiry and can show you our ads on other sites (remarketing), only after you accept in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). It sets cookies (_gcl_*) for up to 90 days, processes technical data, and may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw consent at any time under Cookie settings in the footer.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Retention

Contact and waitlist data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose described above, or until you ask us to delete it. Technical logs are retained briefly for security.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection under the GDPR, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact hello@surfaize.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Berlin Data Protection Authority (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
