Account health

Account health is a daily discipline, not a quarterly scare

Account health used to be a threshold: stay above the line and you could compete. With the Featured Offer eligibility gate being phased out this year, the same metrics now weigh on your rank every day. That turns account health from a compliance chore into an operating metric, and operating metrics get read daily.

The metrics that now cost you rank

Order defect rate, late shipment rate, cancellations, chargebacks and customer complaints used to matter at the moment they crossed a line. Under the new Featured Offer ranking they matter continuously, alongside landed price and delivery promise. Policy notifications, intellectual property complaints and product safety flags sit on top of that, each with its own clock.

A metric drifting for three weeks no longer waits for the quarterly review. It has been costing you the Buy Box the whole time.

The casework nobody wants

Every notification wants a response with evidence: invoices, tracking, photos, a plan of action written the way Amazon reads it. The difference between a same-day answer and a next-week answer is often the difference between a warning and a suspended ASIN. Casework is unglamorous, deadline-driven, and very easy to defer when the inbox is full.

The accounts that stay healthy treat casework like customer service: a queue, an owner, a response time.

The European calendar

Two dates shaped this summer. Since January, Pan-EU eligibility has required VAT registrations in five countries, and sellers with EU, UK, Norwegian or Swiss obligations must keep complete tax details in their accounts or face restrictions. Since 12 August, under the EU packaging regulation, marketplaces are legally required to verify packaging compliance, and non-EU sellers need an authorized representative in each country they sell in. Missing data now means restricted or removed listings, not a reminder.

Compliance stopped being paperwork you do once. It is account health with a deadline.

How we handle it

Our technology reads the health signals, notifications and compliance status daily across every marketplace and drafts the response, the plan of action or the data fix. An operator reviews it, submits it, and tracks the case to resolution. Everything is logged, so when Amazon asks what happened, the answer is a record, not a memory.

Account health is not a scare you survive every quarter. It is a discipline you keep every day.
